What’s Transparency Mode?

Transparency mode does the opposite of what noise-canceling does. Instead of the external mics on the earbuds blocking out the sound, they actually pick up and let the sound pass through the device, allowing you to hear the outside world clearly – without removing your earbuds. Since the HiFi3  has both ANC and ENC (active and environmental noise-canceling technology), it also features a setting that works in the opposite way. This setting seeks to embrace noise. Transparency mode identifies outside noises and plays them through the earbud. It can either pause the music while doing so or combine the two. Switching between modes is seamless. With a simple tap, you can jump from total immersion in ANC to a more balanced listening experience with Transparency Mode.
